I was shopping for some items at CVS today when I stumbled upon something surprising on the shelf. In the "Diet Needs" section for the store, there lied different supplements.

That's normal; I can understand if people need supplements. I personally take Vitamin D supplements because I can't get enough Vitamin D from the sun.

This may not seem like a big deal, but think about it: is there any other place you can get fiber from?

Yes, there is. Fruits. Vegetables. Nuts. Seeds. All of which are very abundant on Planet Earth and needed by the body.

Yet, people are comfortable buying supplements for vitamins, minerals and nutrients that can easily (and preferably, if you ask the body) be absorbed from fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.

In other words:

All you need to do is eat the fruit.

You do not need to supplement everything. There are advantages of eating the fruit over supplements:

So forget the supplement pills and gummies. Eat the fruit. That's all you need.
